Laurie Hermann is the founder of itsomething—a platform where health, wealth, and modern wellness intersect with real-life experience and bold, soul-led insights.
Based in California, Laurie is a seasoned entrepreneur, health and wealth advocate, and event producer with a passion for bringing big ideas to life. She grew up in Montana, where her deep connection to nature and wellness first took root. Since launching her first business in 1992, she’s independently built multiple companies, generated millions in revenue, and helped others do the same—blending sharp strategy with authentic connection.
Laurie’s commitment to wellness is personal. After being diagnosed with Hashimoto’s in 2006, she was told she’d need prescription medication for the rest of her life—but she didn’t buy it. Trusting her intuition over fear, she began exploring natural healing, holistic protocols, and meditation.
She became a passionate advocate for plant medicine in 2020, and it quickly became a cornerstone of her own healing journey. Her transformation became her mission: to help others reclaim their power, too.
She also experienced deep loss and growth—losing her father to a stroke and later caring for her mother through cancer and dementia in her final years. These life chapters deeply shaped her belief in resilience, presence, and living with intention.
Her expertise spans business development, cryptocurrency, wellness, and event production. Whether she’s consulting on a startup, co-creating a wellness experience, or speaking on conscious entrepreneurship, Laurie leads with heart, vision, and values
Known for her ability to build meaningful relationships and spark powerful momentum, her work has been featured in Food & Wine Magazine, HGTV, and ABC Tampa. When she’s not in creator mode, you’ll find Laurie recharging in the places that light her up—SoHo, New York; Whitefish, MT; and St. Tropez, France. At home in California, she soaks up everyday joy with her Portuguese Water Dog puppy and stays deeply rooted in her greatest role: being a mom to her two daughters.
Last year, she took them to Bali—a trip she purchased at a charity booth during a Bitcoin conference. This year, Laurie journeyed deep into the Amazon for a sacred plant medicine retreat—an experience that gifted her two of the most powerful, unforgettable days of her life.
